Mark your calendars for the 10th PV Performance Modeling Collaborative (PVPMC) and Systems Symposium Workshop May 1-3, 2018. Sandia National Laboratories is once again partnering with CFV Solar Laboratory to host the workshop in the “Old Town” section of Albuquerque, a 400 year old historic section of the city. Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) has agreed to co-sponsor the event and we are adding a third day devoted to grid integration and grid modeling topics.
- The focus of Days 1-2 will include the three M’s or Measurement, Modeling, and Monitoring of PV modules and systems.
- The focus of Day 3 will be on models and methods for the integration of PV systems into the electrical grid, including updates on grid integration standards.
We are planning a workshop dinner in the historic Old Town as well as tours of CFV Solar Laboratory. There will be a workshop website and call for abstracts published in Jan 2018. This is an event that you will not want to miss! Look forward to seeing you there. I will reach out in January once the website goes live.
