The US Department of Energy’s Solar Energy Technologies Office is requesting information about how the U.S. solar industry uses and values existing PV data resources, needs that can be addressed by data access, research and analysis, and opportunities to better engage stakeholders on the use and development of data resources. The PV Performance Modeling Collaborative (PVPMC), our modeling workshops, and PVLIB are examples of resources created using DOE funds with the intent to provide benefit to the solar industry. We would encourage your response to DOE’s RFI. Your input will help guide DOE’s and the National Laboratories’ efforts to provide value to you.
The Request For Information (RFI) can be found at: https://energy.gov/eere/sunshot/request-information-solar-energy-technology-analysis-data-needs
Responses to this RFI must be submitted electronically to solaranalysis@ee.doe.gov no later than 5:00pm (ET) on October 6, 2017.
